| Dr.
Murray Malinoski "Dr. Bud" |
 |
| |
Dr.
Murray Malinoski was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. He
graduated from Grand Rapids Union High School in 1969 and immediately
entered Grand Valley State College (as it was know then) for
a Bachelor of Science Degree, which he earned in 1973. He spent
several years teaching math and physics in the Grand Rapids
Public Schools. He then went back to college, graduating in
1980 from Michigan State University with a Master's Degree of
Arts, and in 1983 attained the degree Doctor of Dental Surgery
from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. Dr. Malinoski,
who likes to be called "Dr. Bud" by his patients,
spent his first two years in Three Rivers as an associate with
Dr. Joseph Tironi. In 1985, Dr. Bud purchased the present practice
from Dr. James Malcolm, who was retiring at the time. Dr. Bud
had to move the office twice, most recently into our present
location on the campus of Three Rivers Area Hospital, because
the practice kept outgrowing the available space. Many patients
comment on how thoroughly they understand the procedures we
perform. This is due in part to Dr. Bud's former teaching experience.
Dr. Bud is very active in organized dentistry. He has served
the Kalamazoo Valley Dental Society in many capacities, including
President. He is currently Region XII Trustee for the Michigan
Dental Association (MDA). This area is comprised of Allegan,
Berrien, Cass, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren counties. You will also
find Dr. Bud on the MDA Board Finance Committee and on the board
of Michigan Dental Companies, Inc., the holding company for
the Michigan Dental Association.
When he is not active in dentistry, you will find him riding
his Jet Ski on Corey Lake, playing Tennis with his two children,
traveling with his family, and downhill skiing in the winter.
Dr. Bud enjoys laughter, and you will find a lot of that working
with him. He likes to work in a lighthearted manner, but takes
his work very seriously. |
